Exploring at Cockle Bay Beach

Welcome to our Cockle Bay Beach Exploring Day.  At the beginning of each year, we like to spend a morning at the beach learning and exploring the foreshore environment with our families and friends.  It is a wonderful opportunity for our kindergarten families to meet and enjoy spending time together at our amazing local beach.  We invite all our families and extended members to join us on this annual excursion.  The conditions were perfect for exploring the low tide rock pools, creating sand castles and later splashing in the water as the tide came in.  Some children found crabs, sea snails and tiny fish in their natural habitat, which we made sure they were not disturbed.  Others spent a long time engrossed in constructing elaborate water ways around sand castles.  And some enjoyed running games with their friends and parents on the grass.  With such a busy morning, we all enjoyed sitting in the shade to have morning tea.  Thanks for coming along and taking part in one of our annual excursions.  This is a valuable learning experience and we are sure to plan another trip for next year.

Every visit from prospective parents and children is exciting and we look forward to meeting you. Feel free to arrange a visit, see the centre and enjoy a chat with our amazing team
